چکیده
An efficient protocol for the chemoselective removal of Dmab esters on the solid phase is reported; this method has been successfully utilised for the convergent solid phase synthesis of N-linked glycopeptides.

Synthesis of N-linked glycopeptides via solid-phase aspartylation.
An efficient strategy for the preparation of N-linked glycopeptides is described. The method relies on the use of side chain protecting groups on aspartic acid residues, namely the allyl and Dmab esters, which are orthogonal to those utilised in Fmoc-strategy SPPS. After peptide assembly these protecting groups were selectively removed and the resulting free side chains derivatised with a glyco...

An efficient approach for the synthesis of norbuprenorphin derivatives through coupling of enkephalins and norbuprenorphine intermediate is described. Norbuprenorphine derivative was synthesized from thebaine and then, its reaction with succinic acid and phthalic acid was also studied. Meanwhile, the synthesis of enkephalins was done using solid phase peptide synthesis approach. Furthermore, af...

متن کاملGlycopeptides of biological interest: A challenge for chemical synthesis
The synthesis of glycopeptides which constitute partial structures of glycoproteins, e. g. tumor-associated antigens or virus envelope glycoproteins, is presented. The problems of the selective deblocking and chain extension of such glycopeptides which contain acetalic glycosidic bonds were solved by application of the fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl (Fmoc) group cleavable with the weak base morpholin...
متن کاملSynthesis of a serine-based neuraminic acid C-glycoside.
Cell-surface carbohydrates are classified by the nature of their linkages to the protein as either N-linked or O-linked. O- and N-glycans are involved in a number of important biological functions. These activities can be lost on glycoprotein catabolism when these glycan linkages are enzymatically hydrolyzed. The design and synthesis of novel C-linked glycans should provide catabolically stable...
